EMDR-Inspired Sessions
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychological approach that supports the mind’s natural ability to integrate and adapt to experiences.
Developed in the late 1980s by Dr. Francine Shapiro, EMDR is recognized by major psychological associations for its structured and research-informed methodology.
Rather than relying only on discussion, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to help the brain organize and process information in a more balanced way.
This allows for new perspectives, emotional clarity, and a greater sense of inner balance.
Growth happens when we integrate our experiences and connect more deeply with ourselves.
Note: I offer EMDR-inspired coaching for personal growth. I don’t offer psychotherapy or clinical treatment.
How Does It Work?
EMDR is based on the understanding that our experiences—especially those with strong emotions—can influence how we think, feel, and respond today.
Using bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sounds), EMDR supports the brain’s natural ability to integrate information and create new, balanced perspectives. My sessions are inspired by this method.
Memory Processing
It helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences, reducing their emotional intensity and integrating them into long-term memory.
Bilateral Stimulation
Using eye movements, sounds, or tapping, EMDR engages both hemispheres of the brain, mimicking the natural processing that occurs during REM sleep, leading to emotional relief and clarity.
Emotional Release & Healing
Stored memories and negative emotions are desensitized
Shifting Negative Beliefs
Negative self-beliefs (e.g., "I am not good enough") can be replaced with new, empowering ones (e.g., "I am strong and capable").
Your thoughts shape your reality. By shifting your beliefs, you transform your life.
